British Values - Mutual Respect & Learning about Community Religions
Our spring term finished with our annual Easter assembly led by Year 4 pupils. The assembly was held at our community neighbours, Holy Innocents Church. Our year four pupils shared with the whole school, parents and congregation members from Holy Innocents about the importance of Easter to members of the Christian faith in our school and local community.
It was a fantastic assembly with music, drama, year group choir and soloists sharing the message of hope from the Easter story. This message of hope is something that transcends all religions and was the key message of the assembly - that however how bad a situation may be that we find ourselves in, we can always have hope.
